A Bit Of Background
The Symons family have owned Hendra Farm for over 35 years and converted to organic production in 1998. Jo is adamant that Cornish farmers can meet the demands of discerning shoppers.
"As farmers we have learnt to diversify to make a living, switching from dairy to beef production and horticulture when we went organic. Buying direct from the producer benefits everyone and we are very excited about this new venture. People want to be able to buy good food, knowing where it comes from without having to pay huge premiums for the organic label."

Home Produced Meats
Our delicious, richly flavoured organic meat is well hung to enhance its quality and tenderness. We supply a full range of organic meat: beef, lamb, pork and chicken (as well as Christmas turkeys). It is professionally butchered and carefully packaged to ensure it stays in perfect condition. All the meat is reared on our own farm, or on those of a small group of local organic farmers with whom we work closely. We think it is important that you know exactly where your meat comes from.
